Download the install file to your computer by clicking on the link in the email sent to you, or
copying and pasting the link into a web browser.
With either method, the install file will be downloaded to the “Downloads” folder on your computer.
When file is downloaded double click on the file called “epi_win_live_installer.exe” to start the
installation.
If you get a security warning appears, allow the file to run.
If the User Account Control (UAC) prompt appears, click “Yes”
The ESET Package installer will start.
Check the “I want to uninstall incompatible security products” check box Click “Continue”.
Click “I Accept” on the License Agreement Page.
The Installer will scan for installed AV programs
When the scan is complete, select the Symantec Endpoint Protection (or any other AV Program that
appears) option. DO NOT select the Malwarebytes Endpoint Agent option.
The ESET Installer will now remove Symantec Endpoint Protection.
Wait for the process to complete. Click “Continue”
The program will want to reboot your computer at this stage, allow this to happen.
Once your computer has rebooted, open the “Downloads” folder on your computer and double click on
the file called “epi_win_live_installer.exe” to restart the installation.
This time DO NOT Check the “I want to uninstall incompatible security products” check box. Click on
the “Continue” button.
The software will download and install. Allow this stage to complete fully.
The ESET Management Agent Software and the Security Protection software will download…
…and then install
After installation completes, allow 15 minutes for the initial updates to run, and then reboot your
computer to complete the installation.
